Below are resources that I've found especially helpful. These nonprofit organizations, articles, and videos provide greater depth and knowledge for those that may be learning more about nonbinary gender or looking to be inspired by others.

 

Gender Spectrum

Gender Spectrum offers unique support for youth, adults, families and professional service providers (doctors, educators, lawyers, and other youth advocates) who are seeking to better understand gender and gender expansive youth.  Gender Spectrum also hosts an annual conference for children, teens, parents, and providers in California drawing participants from around the country.

Micah is a published writer and an experienced presenter on a wide variety of gender related topics. Micah’s website offers a ton of resources including a timeline of their own transition, and several articles to support those who might need personal support, family support, or professional support.

This article offers great inspiration for writing a term paper, or just gaining some awareness of how broadly gender is understood in different parts of the world and how other cultures sometimes impose their own understanding of gender on to others.
